Decent Stay with a Few Downsides
unsure staff grimy bathroom
The bathroom, while functional, could have been cleaner. I did notice some grime. The code lock on the door was also a pain to use, prioritizing form over function, pretty annoying.

dirty hand marks shared bathroom
the continental breakfast was available. i'll give them that.
the room décor was pretty grubby. I spotted dirty hand marks around the door. the shared bathroom situation wasn't ideal.

I appreciated the large terrace with countryside views. The hotel offers a selection of self-catering breakfast items. The grounds are attractive and well-kept. The continental breakfast included fresh milk, grounded beans for coffee, and a variety of breads.
i had to wait briefly upon arrival since the staff member was momentarily away.

Acceptable Stay, Some Issues Noted
basic breakfast slippery code lock
The parking access was easy.
The breakfast was quite basic for the price paid. I saw mostly cereal and toast. The bedroom door had a code lock that was slippery and required remembering a sequence and six-digit code.. It felt more like form over function. These issues were irritating.

personal welcome great view comfortable accommodation
i received a personal welcome and a tour upon my arrival. the breakfast room provides a great view of the surrounding area. comfortable accommodation was provided, in keeping with the building's period.
however, it was nothing i would worry about considering the price range.

lovely spaces own living room excellent grounds
The apartment gave us really lovely spaces! i appreciated having my own living room and the space in the bathroom. the grounds were excellent for my dog too. It was a super bonus.
i felt a little sad for the building as it needs a good lot of repairs, i think it would be amazing fully updated.
